  Who is the programme aimed at?

  Cost reduction programmes work with companies in most business sectors, particularly Manufacturing and Supply Chain & Logistics organisations, that want or need to reduce their business operational costs.

Logistics Consultant UK - Our Cost Reduction Opportunity Assessments use the following methodology:

• Full process to process, flow by flow walkthroughs and discussions with your operational management team, your office & shop-floor people.

• Analysis of key data from your IT System.

• We then put your data through our business intelligence software tool.

• Once we have all the necessary information, we apply our Lean Waste Elimination tools & techniques, to identify the opportunities that exist in your business, both for process improvements and operational cost reductions. All of our findings & feedback will be built into a web based (Password Protected) report that you can access at any time.

• At the review closeout meeting we will use our web based report with your management team to discuss in great detail the opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reductions that exist in your organisation.

Programme Steps:-

Initial meeting: To discuss the client's business and a process walkthrough to enable us to quickly see and develop our initial thoughts and feedback. - Duration 2 hours Max - This is free of charge.

The Review:- We then agree with the client the areas of the business where the Cost Down Opportunity Assessment will take place & the number of consultancy days.

Feedback Session:- The Cost reduction assessment will deliver a full detailed operational cost savings and process improvement report. This will be presented in a closeout meeting with your management team.

The client:- Can then: Decide to have Supply Chain & Logistics Consulting conduct the implementations at a fixed cost that will be agreed beforehand, or to have their own people do the implementations. The report is yours to keep no matter what you decide.

Implementations:- Where we are engaged to implement the process improvements, we will deliver within the agreed fixed number of consultancy days, if we go overtime we will not charge you any additional hours.

On the Cost Down Review days - If we can not identify cost savings in your organisation to the value of at least 5 times the cost of the review consultancy days, then we will not charge you at all.

On the Implementation Days- If we go over the agreed number of implementation days, through no fault of the client we will conduct the additional days at no extra charge to you.
